Our client is a restaurant close to London near a city called Basingstoke. The busy restaurant is in the countryside so applicants who love the countryside should only apply.
The restaurant is in need of 1 Grill Chef to join their existing brigade, he/she will be responsible for delivering a quality service of food preparation.
The employer takings per week is 25K so the ideal candidate would need to be use to a busy environment. 70% of all food is prepared on-site and 30% is cooked from frozen so knowledge of using a microwave is essential. You will also know how to grill meats and fish, bone meats, canoe fish, prep vegetables, create sauces, work under pressure.
The menu consists of 70 dishes, which is a corporate menu plus blackboard specials. The ideal candidate would have 3 years kitchen experience.
The restaurant offers:
- Traditional Sunday lunch
- Weekdays core menu plus black board of special dishes created by the Head Chef
The employer will provide accommodation where the room will not be shared. Accommodation charge is L78.00 per 4 weeks. Meals are provided from the menu at 50% discount, all rooms have cooking facilities.
Salaries are paid every 4 weeks.
The restaurant is part of a national chain, great training and benefits and career progression is available. As part of the employment the applicant will be enrolled on a NVQ 2 course which could be Professional Cookery or Food Processing & Cooking
Employment is immediate start
Position is Permanent.
